Dinner in Desert

We provide convenient pick-up and drop-off services from your preferred location within Jaisalmer city or the Sam Sand Dunes. However, if you are staying inside the fort, you may need to reach the Fort Gate for pick-up. Pick-up time will be around 3:30 pm, and the drop-off time will be approximately 10:00 pm. Note: You can alos opt for an overnight stay in a cozy decorated bed in the middle of the desert. But this will be at an additional cost of 1000/person.

You will enjoy a 45-minute camel ride, through the varied topography of the Thar Desert. In the morning, you will again undertake a 45-minute camel ride to the jeep point. We have the policy of one person per camel to give you a relaxed and a better travel experience.

Begin the evening with freshly prepared snacks, including chips and pakoras, accompanied by tea as you watch the sunset. After sunset, savor a candle-lit à la carte dinner under the stars, featuring a delicious vegetarian menu with roti, rice, dal, and sabzi. Enjoy the serene desert ambiance with warm hospitality, making your evening truly unforgettable. You will also receive up to 4 x 1-litre bottles of packaged drinking water to stay refreshed throughout the experience.

Apart from the immersive camel ride, you will be witnessing the enchanting sunset on the dunes. You will also get an opportunity to learn more about the history of Jaisalmer as you will be visiting Kuldhara, a cursed & haunted village in Jaisalmer. To give you a deeper insight about the desert life, you will be visiting a natural oasis, that serves as a water source for the wildlife as well as for the local communities residing in the villages nearby.

If you choose to come by yourself, we recommend you to leave from jaisalmer by 2:30 pm and reach the Kanoi village by 4:00 pm.
